The summer Pollinator Partnership Mite-A-Thon runs from Aug 14 through the 29th. All beekeepers are welcome to upload their mite check data.

May 20 Meeting

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 we will be meeting ONLY online.

Thursday, May 20, 7:00 PM

Because we cannot as yet meet in person, we are continuing to meet online on Facebook to serve as many as we can during this time. To be notified of the video when we go live, we recommend making sure that you are a member of our Facebook group. This will be available for later viewing, but we highly encourage joining us live for the Q&A if you can.

Our swarm coordinator, Julie Arthur, will give an update on swarms.

Our guest speaker, Master Beekeeper Scott Debman, will discuss:

  • Varroa mite life cycle
  • How varroa mites affect honey bees and survival

If you would like to see how to do a mite check you can check out this video on our YouTube channel.
