Come join us for a workshop to make robber screens hosted by WBA member James Peirce. Robber screens are simple devices which can guard a colony against being robbed by other honey bee colonies and help to manage intrusion by wasps. Each robber screens costs $15. Materials and tools are provided and robber screens are made custom to your hive. Measure the width of each hive’s main entrance (the opening itself) as that is the measurement which will be used to build the robber screen. We can make robber screens for everything from 10-frame Langstroth colonies to small mini hives.
